Pretty much what it says in the title.

Do you guys think it would be possible to install RuneAudio on a Kobo Arc 7 ? I have on gathering dust, not really afraid to brick it or anything.

According to http://www.archlinuxuser.com/2013/01/how-to-install-archlinux-arm-on-any.html ARCHlinux should work on it, so I'm thinking why not make use of a perfectly good touchscreen for shits and giggles.

Hi RickTables,

welcome to RuneAudio.

Do you guys think it would be possible to install RuneAudio on a Kobo Arc 7 ?

Good idea and interesting question.
Send me one and i will try it  .

I think it is possible, but it is not an easy task.
You have to get Arch running first.
Next you have to compile all the necessary packages (like mpd) for this platform.
Rune has to be modified to handle the new platform correctly.

Hi Frank,

thanks for your answer !

In all honesty I probably could  as I said it's gathering dust.

More seriously though, could you point me towards a list of packages needed, etc, see if I could try and get it running ?
I sniffed around the github repos but I'm not sure they are the most up-to date.
