Raspberry Pi2/3 with Cirrus Logic Audio Card

My success story:

1. Install official image (0.4beta) on Raspberry without audio card (Rasp with audio didn't boot)

2. Configure WiFi (if you need) by console "wifi-menu" (WebGUI didn't work)

3. Install ArchLinux kernel with Cirrus support (linux-raspberrypi-wsp-4.4.14-2-armv7h)

4. Shutdown, install audio card and boot

5. Go to MPD setup (WebGUI) select Wolfson sound card output (Headphone or Lineout)

Voila! I have working RuneAudio on Raspberry Pi2/3 with Cirrus Logic Audio Card and WiFi.

@ray1112: it is awesome as I have seen another thread even some other related forums people they could not do or stuck. Anyway I wish to be advised (I do not think only me ) from you the Cirrus Logic audio dac board you did. Thanks.

I followed your instruction, Cirrus Audio Output is working fine, but mpd crashed.

Any advise?

ics, I don't know what's problem.
I only make described steps on my RP2 and RP3 and both are working.
My friend also make his RP3 with Cirrus by these steps.
Try these steps once more strictly following the procedure.
I never use console for mpd, I use only Rune GUI.
