Stefan, you need to determine where you copied the files.

putty into your pi and type 'ls' to list the files in the home directory. Hopefully you will see your files you copied over. if not, try 'ls /' to list the files in the file system root directory. if you still can't find them, you might need to use the command find to locate the files. Something like

find / -name Playback_to_Lineout.sh -print

you may also need to chmod the files but that was covered above.

Thanks man! The search for the file did the trick, it was in /boot/root/use_case_scripts/Playback_to_Lineout.sh (no idea why, guess all the Linux-freaks know...). So I am holding my thumbs that these settings will survive a reboot ;)

Hello,
I have Pi B with a Wolfson card and have installed Rune v0.3-beta (29/10/2014).
I'm up and running and selected the Linux kernel 3.12.13-rt and rebooted.
I created a directory and copied the scripts root/use_case_scripts/Playback_to_Lineout.sh
Ran [root@runeaudio ~]# ./Playback_to_Lineout.sh and a bunch of txt ran by.
Refreshed and checked the web ui and the I2S drop down is grayed out.
I rebooted and same results.

I tired created the recommended cron job but when I run crontab –l I see nothing.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hum reseated the Wolfsen card an how I have sound.
I may have missed it but the Wolfsen card option should NOT show up?

I'm trying to use this as an all-in-one solution for headphones.
Is there anyway to enable volume control?

Thank you

Just a heads up: The 4.1.13+ kernel posted here works perfectly with my Runeaudio installation (rpi B, Wolfson card):

Hello! This post has been inactive for a while but I hopefully someone will be able to answer my query.

I recently got a CirrusLogic DAC for my old RPi B+ which got replaced by a RPi3. Decided to instal RuneAudio as it was the only one that offered out of the box compatibility. However, I've ran into a couple of problems.

With RuneAudio 0.3 once I switch the kernel to the proper Kernel for the DAC the OS seems to start fine but I stop having network and USB devices. Has anyone else had this issue? Am I missing something that's breaking functionality?

Decided to try the 4.1.13+ kernel mentioned on the last post as well, and while that brings back Network and USB it seems to brake the RuneUI, as when I try to access it I get an http 403 error. Any chance of getting more detailed instructions on how to make this work properly?

Hi,

It's my first post on this forum but reading it for a longer time.

In the past days I am trying to re-use my Rasp B+ with the Wolfson card which I didn't used for a longer time of period. I have several versions so I know a bit how it works.

I installed Rune Audio kernel for the Wolfson card.

Tried many thing and search the internet but I can't get rid of the:
amixer: Cannot find the given element from control hw:0 error.

Here and there the problem was a broken card.(which of course is possible) but are there any other reasons I get this error?

Only the green light on the Wolfson is shown.

Thanks!

I've never come across this issue before on my Cirrus DAC, however haven't been using rune either.

Have you checked alsa settings and activation scripts to see if active output names and ID's match? Have you disabled onboard audio?

Just providing a few possibilities that might be where the issue lies. Hopefully someone with more knowledge of alsa configuration and tools can help you on this

If only the green LED then it's being recognised and accepted by the Pi which is a good sign otherwise both red and green LED's would be on!
