WEB Radio

Postby Bjarne » 10 Nov 2014, 21:47

When I connect to Rune from my Android via MpDroid i shows the titel of the playing song.
How do I get Rune Web UI to do the same?

Titel is showing when playing my flac files.

It should work like that in RuneUI too. With which radio are you getting this issue?

I added your link in My Webradios and then I added the resulting entry to the playlist.
This is what I got:

The title of the currently played song is displayed correctly.

I'm sorry, but it isn't.
The white text tells the name of the radio station.
blue big text say's "Last played" in Danish.

I guess this has to do with a bug which has been already reported, regarding the way the server side of RuneAudio parses the incoming stream, truncating the JSON response to the client side when the string contains a colon http://www.runeaudio.com/forum/runeaudio-0-3-alpha-for-raspberry-pi-t309-340.html.

Right now I have DR P8 Jazz station playing and on another MPD client the current stream shows as 'Senest spillet: For All The Presents I Never Bought You' while on RuneUI it just shows 'Senest spillet'.

As far as I understand, the bug is understood and it will be addressed in one of the future releases.

Lol I didn't know that! :D I thought it was the title...

@AndreR: good point, we'll review the code looking for that.

@Bjarne: can you find me another example of webradio with columns inside the artist or title to debug it? It seems that unfortunatly the DR P8 Jazz radio is not displaying "Senest Spillet: ..." anymore...

Hmm, I just checket and it's still saying Senest Spillet
If I use MPad om iPad it say "Senest spillet: name of tune, name of artist"
