Web interface on iPad 1

I just purchased an iPad 1 to run as a dedicated controller for Rune Audio. It loads the web interface page (dark in the background) but has the spinning circle that runs endlessly. I'm using 0.3a. Is there a fix for this or is the iPad too old?

UPDATE: I have used various browsers, still with the same problem. I tested Volumio 1.2 and 1.4, and they work. I would rather have Rune Audio.

It must have something to do with the iPad 1 being too old. Something with the javascript (400). The iPad 2 works fine. So goodbye iPad 1!

When you say it does not work, do you mean the integrated web browser which I guess is safari? Runeaudio with Safari on Leopard does not work either.

What about using Chrome or any other web browser available and being still updated?

If Chrome can be installed and runs decently on the iPad 1, it would serve you great. Moreover, you could use the Add to Homescreen feature that works great with RuneUI.

Thanks for the replies. I tried Chrome and it either did not work or was to new to run on the iPad 1, I forget. I tried the Add to Homescreen and no luck there either. I sold the ipad 1 and bought an iPad 2 instead. That should solve the problem .
