Will put Rune on it and attach a FiiO D03 and connect to my stereo.

I expect this will be a quick and easy treat. I'm new to using digital audio
and plan to set up a surplus computer with FreeNAS

to serve up the digital audio files.

Just an update on my progress. I have the Cubox-i4 Pro and the FiiO D3. I now have OpenMediaVault (not FreeNAS) providing a CIFS share and connect from my Ubuntu workstation. I have been ripping CDs to the OpenMediaVault share to make sure I can do this. I will likely start another thread about installing Rune on the Cubox-I4.

Hi cootgraig,
I'm sorry if we missed your first post.
As you may know we finally came out with the long awaited 0.3-alpha release, only for Rpi at the moment. We already updated the source code of RuneUI on GitHub and we are also going to do the same with the RuneOS source code. In addition to that you'll fing a sort of cookbook listing in detail all the steps to reproduce a RuneAudio installation. Unfortunatly we still don't have any CuBox-i4 sample in our hands (we count to do it in the near future), but in the meanwhile you can do an installation attempt by yourself and give us your feedbacks. It would surely speed up the development for that platform.
