I can't get my R Pi2 running Rune audio to recognise that my HifiBerry Digi2 pro is even there.
It's not available as an audio output source.

Both (available) versions of Rune Audio have been downloaded and tried. The earlier version doesn't even boot.

Any ideas?

I'd suggest looking at rAudio. This is a fork of runeaudio with many new features, fixes, ... No reason to look anywhere else.

i have a RP2 model B what a HAT DAC (Allo Boss?) and a zero with a hifiberry HAT. Both work great with rAudio
