Not everyone has an android phone : :?

I'm using AirPlay at the moment but it's not 100%, sometimes rune freezes and the ui is inaccessible, I'm sure if it was running through mpd it would be more stable.

thats why I bought an cheap tablet and using it as remote control :) This is the best solution so far. Or you can buy dedicated streamers with Tidal integration from Linn, Naim , etc... Be prepared to spend "a bit" more than RPi+DAC costs :)

Might be a job for my old touchpad, but the battery life is pretty crap. I'll probably end up sticking with airplay...or installing mopidy by hand ;)

What exactly is this Mopidy? RuneAudio alternative or can it be used in conjuction with our client?

A question for revered Mr. Frank... :) Bubble UPnP has solved Tidal, Google play and some other streaming service integration... would it be possible to copy their code? I am not a coder myself but if that is an option I may contact some local computer science students and make them an unrefusable offer... :)

Hi BorGreiner,

i think it is not worth to spend time and money to do this with the current version.
We should wait for Version 2, because the backend has changed totally.
The new version hopefully will come soon.

I understand. Thx!

Well, as they say... all good things come to those who can wait. :D
