Hello everyone. I am unable to install Rune Audio on my Windows 10. Every time I am trying to install any application, it shows the “Error Opening File For Writing” error message. I don’t know why this happening and how to fix it. If anyone provides any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

So, after searching on Google I found this yesterday. The issue is fixed after applying the processes mentioned there.

The error you're getting is generic and not exclusively related to Rune Audio. You can check out this blog. it lists a few methods to get around the issue.

Some of the steps include:

Checking your antivirus.
Running the Compatibility troubleshooter
Running the program as administrator
Reinstalling the said application
Creating a new administrator account and redoing the steps
Change your security permissions for the user and the apps
Disabling User Account Control
Changing advanced security permissions
