Internet radio station plays too fast

I have RuneAudio 0.3Beta installed on a Raspberry Pi B+.
I configured a new internet radio station on RuneAudio, with the following URL: http://superq.domint.net:8090/;
RuneAudio is able to play the resulting stream when the station is selected, but RuneAudio plays the audio too fast. The voices on the stream sound like the chipmunks... It looks like the stream is of type "audio/mpeg".
I tried playing back the stream on VLC and it works just fine. Anyone know how to fix this?
