Hello! Please help,
I have Cobietruck 3 and usb Dac with Bolero v3 - on Amanero384 combo USB chip (amanero.com)
and after play I have problems with sound, the sound crumbles, then freezes.

Could this be because of the old core?

I tried another build (other), V.A.M.P. (based on volumio)
And everything works well, fine.

Hi pBuhta,

updating the kernel is not possible, many things will break.
You can try to edit the /etc/mpd.conf file and change the marked entry:

audio_output {
name "BoleroV3"
type "alsa"
device "plughw:3,0"
auto_resample "no"
auto_format "no"
enabled "yes"
}

- Get access to the console:
Use SSH from your PC

If you are not familiar with SSH read this for Windows or this for Linux/MacOS
The default login for RuneAudio is "root" with the password "rune" (without quotes).

- Use sftp to access files on Rune Audio:
Get WinSCP from here and install it.
When it opens setup the following:
- Session
File Protocol: SCP
Host name: The IP address of your Raspberry Pi
User name: root
Password: rune

That's it, connect and you can transfer files just by dragging and dropping.

after changing the file mpd.conf you should restart the mpd.

systemctl restart mpd

from the console (ssh).

This is only a temporary thing to check the correct settings.

Once you found the correct settings you have to make it permanent (i'll help you with this)

File /etc/mpd.conf was modified outside Player UI.
You can edit it manually or reset back to default settings.

I do not have to manually edit the file?
