Best Way to Power Off

Hi,

I have a Cubietruck with a USB DAC, a battery, and an SSD attached to SATA. Whenever I attempt to poweroff from the Rune Audio interface when the Cubietruck is plugged in to AC current, the Cubietruck reboots. When I poweroff from Rune Audio on battery power, on the other hand, the unit completely shuts down.

I know I can shut down the unit on AC power using the power switch, but won't that potentially damage either the SD card or the SSD? Or is there a way to code the power switch to perform a safe shutdown, with proper unmounting of the SD and the SSD?

Thanks,
Rod

Did you ever get this issue sorted out? I've just installed runeaudio on my cubietruck 3 and have found that when I shutdown it reboots. I've also found that if I ssh a shutdown command it corrupts the OS and I have to reinstall!
