Yes, I have 6V/2A plugged into audiophonics card.

In the end it was the case of a faulty card. After some back and forth I got a new one from the manufacturer.
If you should find yourself in the same situation do remind Audiophonics they must refund you postal charges as stated by EU directives covering consumer protection
