Two quick question for hondagx35 et al.

I'm totally new to the RPi and RuneAudio, but (a) does this 0.4 pre-release run on the single core RPi B+ and (b) does the version of MPD used suppprt audio streams with apple m3u8 format? e.g. can it play a stream like http://a.files.bbci.co.uk/media/live/ma ... three.m3u8

Hi PegLEg,

(a) does this 0.4 pre-release run on the single core RPi B+

No.

(b) does the version of MPD used suppprt audio streams with apple m3u8 format?

MPD version is newer then 0.19.2, so it should support m3u8.

I'm not at home, so can not test this.

Thanks, I'd be interested to know the result if you find time to test playing a m3u8 stream on RPI2 + your 0.4 image.

Big thaks for the image. Installed it today and everyhting seems to be working good. Still waiting for my HiFiBerry digi to be delivered but I think it'll work fine.
Maybe I'll do some tweaking but it works out of the "box".
For some reason my computer didn't recognize dcfldd command and I can't find the ImageWriter tool but Ubuntu SoftwareCentre says it's installed. Ubuntu 14.04LTS on MacBookPro 4.1.

Hi!
I have installed 0,4 and I struggle to connect to wifi, It is scanning for networks, but not finding any, I tried this:
configuring-wireless-connections-from-the-local-device-t779.html#p4759
but I cannot start the profile
Code: Select all
Job for netctl@PROFILENAME.service failed. See "systemctl status netctl@blindfolded.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.

Hi unameme,

I have installed 0,4

First, there is no 0.4 version. This image is a first try to get RuneAudio running on the RP2.

Yes there is an issue with wifi, i hope to get this fixed tomorrow.
I will report here as soon as a new version is available.

Oh, IDK where I took this 0.4 from, maybe those 4 cores mislead me ;)

Thank you for the info, I hope it's not a big issue, and tomorow it will be a big day for my Rpi2 & IQaudio dac+ :)

I have had some NAS NFS time-outs: 'nfs: server 192.168.0.2 not responding, timed out'. Occured 3 times now and music stops. I use a synology DS114.

I addded actimeo=3600 to the mount flags: nfsvers=3,nolock,ro,actimeo=3600
Haven't had the issue since. Not 100% sure if issue is solved because it doesn't happen that often, but when it happens it keeps spamming this message every 5 seconds.

While checking if time-outs were solved I got the following at a certain point using dmesg:
Code: Select all

Hi dwijtsma,

No idea what it is, but thought it might be helpfull

Thank you for your feedback.
There seems to be an issue with one of the drivers.

Today my new Raspberry Pi 2 arrived, so i can continue my work on the image.
