Hi dwijtsma,

GUI is much faster indeed. Only problem is that I can't select my DAC. Dr. DAC nano (Tenor TE7022L). Never had problems with this in the past.

Dr. DAC nano (Tenor TE7022L) is an USB device?
If so, what is the output from:
Code: Select all

Code: Select all
[root@runeaudio ~]# lsusb
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0424:ec00 Standard Microsystems Corp. SMSC9512/9514 Fast Ethernet Adapter
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0424:9514 Standard Microsystems Corp. SMC9514 Hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
[root@runeaudio ~]#

typed
Code: Select all
dmesg
and got
Code: Select all
usb 1-1-port2: over-current change message

Could this have to do with the new pi2 power supply?

I tried a USB stick to see if I had broken my USB ports, but it's ok. DAC has SPDIF out. LED is directly connected to the TE7022L and ground. Don't know how much current runs through the LED. So at work I disconnected the SPDIF LED to lower the power consumption of the DAC.

Hopefully this will do... Will also try my O2 dac this evening.

Hi all,

it would be great to get more feedback from you.

During the last 3 days i registered nearly 100 downloads from
all over the world and only got 3 replies.

I already download package but not test it yet.Because there is Chinese new year and shop that i order Pi2 is close until 22 feb.

In my opinion separate MPD in one core is very good idea.I have friend that make fidelizer program it a program that make windows better sound by turn off process and rise priority of sound process. He said that single core is sound better than multicore because core switching make signal timing shift (sorry i am not english native so i maybe choose wrong word).

I managed to get the NFS drive mounted, thanks to your feedback. However, indexing the drive (building the database) does not work. An issue I had with Volumio as well, but not with Kodi. It mounts perfectly, green checkmark and all. But when I access the Network Mounts tab in the library, there's no content except for a back-button. The library icon also never goes into the rebuilding animation, as if the rebuild is done instantly.

Another thing I noticed is that I get heavy static on most radio stations. So far, I have been able to find 1 radio station that sounds normal (r10_6070s_plus). So I can confirm that the connection to my DAC works ;).

Yesterday I tried my dr. DAC nano with disabled s/pdif led. Still got 'over-current change' message 3 times per second. This DAC works with my laptop, desktop PC and the raspberry pi model B. This evening I will try if it does work with raspbian to see if it is software related somehow, because I think the DAC doesn't draw to much current...

'O2 + ODAC' works fine. When I manually select a different song there is a small glitch. Didn't notice this in between songs when playing a complete album. No idea where it's coming from. NFS works fine. Had to add the 'nolock' option to make it work. Like I said before, GUI works very extremely fast. Update library too. Especially fine for people how collect music. ;)
