System too slow

Postby dragos_nedelcu » 29 May 2019, 07:23

Hello! I don't know how to fix this or point it exactely.
The Runeaudio 4b on raspberry pi 3b has become so slooooooow...
To be precise. I gave it static ip. It starts just fine, plays good, but after a while it responds very late, cannot refresh library as it looks empty and changing the track takes 30 seconds.
Any ideas?
Reinstall system? Network problem?
It used to work flawlessly.

Hi Dragos_nedelcu,

This is a known issue, see previous posts in this forum.
Rebooting or reinstalling is not going to help you.
There appears to be an issue with the last.fm API.
This functionality seems to be woven deeply into RuneAudio.
I'm not an expert, but I think this is going to require a modification of RuneAudio's code.

Cheers,

I tried to stop access to last.fm from the router. There is more than that... still slow or not working...
