Hi nickvas19,
There are some problems with Spotify, search the forum for details.
What you should get is a list of your own playlists, the playlists which you follow will not be shown. It is very slow and takes quite a while to load the information. But it works.

P.S. On 20-12-2017 Spotify announced that they have given permission to the Lunix foundation to pre-install the Spotify software in the standard Linux distribution :D So, there is a good chance that the current Spotify problems will soon be fixed and the possibility of more features.

Also thanks to Spotify for the Christmas present for all Linux audio enthusiasts.

Hi nickvas19,
Are you loged into Spotify on another device? You can only have one active session (per account), Rune is not capable of taking over an active session. The other way around, the Spotify App can take over a session from Rune.

Hello nickvas19,
I have just tried Spotify my own Rune installation. I have exactly the same problem. I don’t know what has changed. Could you supply the first 20 lines of your debug information so that we know exactly which version of the software you are using. I will do some testing during the next couple of days.

Hi all,

I did a quick test with a fresh installation (from here) and it works without issues.
I do not use Spotify at all, so I can't tell you something about reliability.

Is your installation modified (kernel-, mpd- or other updates)?
Do you use special characters with your password?
