The access point itself is active, you can connect to it, but you cannot get the IP address from the Runeaudio DHCP server's.

When I turn off and then turn on the access point again in Settings / Features, it starts working normally, but before the first reboot.

Q1. How change audio card output (Line out or Headset)? RuneAudio 0.4b have it on MPD page.

Q2. Default mixer is not working (Hardware Volume Control is not working). RuneAudio 0.4b have it working well.
If I change mixer on MPD page to "HPOUT1 Digital" I have error on MPD page:

On RuneAudio 0.4b, post results:

hi all, running latest rune 120120 version with HiFiBerry Dac+ Pro. All great. Couple issues:

1) I had a breakthrough finally being able to SMB mount or SFTP into my attached USB hard drive running HFSplus (unjournaled is the key). SFTP connection from my Mac laptop to the Raspberry Pi appears to upload the entire MP3 and Rune ingests it into library. But when I get, generally speaking, to tracks 2 or 3 of the album, I am unable to play the entire mp3-- usually first 5-10 seconds, then it skips to the next track in the Queue. The file appears to be the right filesize, but rune refuess to play all the way through.
Anyone else encountered this and have any suggestions? I had heard SFTP or SMB file transfers can be "flaky" but wonder if this is what's meant, or could be something else.

2) Interesting issue with Airplay, though I have "Zero volume" feature set. When I connect with Airplay and adjust volume on my mac, that seems to force a volume setting on Rune that sticks with it, even when I disconnect from Airplay, and then move to Web radio, or something local on Rune. I must reconnect with Airplay, increase the volume to max, disconnect, then the Rune takes on the original "no volume" level.

Keep up the great work and thanks!

Hi Rern.
I found a solution. It's clumsy, but it definitely works. I don't know what happens, but after that everything works fine.

These are the commands I placed at the end of the startup.sh file:

systemctl disable --now hostapd
ifconfig wlan0 0.0.0.0
netctl stop-all
ifconfig wlan0 192.168.5.1
systemctl restart hostapd
systemctl enable hostapd

@BVLabs,

Please try:
- Remove those added lines in startup.sh
- Run:
Code: Select all
sed -i '/Unit/ a\After=startup.service' /etc/systemd/system/hostapd.service.d/override.conf
systemctl daemon-reload

- Reboot

Gutting a 'Linn' tuner to build a Pi streamer.

That looks soooo cool! 8-)

hello Rern
I am a new user of your RuneAudio version and I must confess that I find it very interesting and well made, specially as for the graphic layout and effective use of functions. I still haven't run it as my RPI is at the moment out of work but I am trying to get confident with it. Thanks a lot for your huge efforts ;)
So far I have used RuneAudio 0.5b and modified the files config.txt and cmdline.txt according to the tweakings suggested by Frost_dk and Dynobot in the thread tweaking-the-audio-performance-rpi3-t4301.html, after that I edited the file orion_optimize.sh to change some parameters related to the sound profiles of the kernel.
Now I am trying to follow the same way in Rune Audio+R e6 but unfortunately I cannot find and edit the file at issue :P
I wonder if those changes are already set in this version. If not, how is it possible to tweak the sound profiles here?
I am sure that sooner or later someone else will give it a try
