I'm probably doing something wrong.
1 step format sd card
2 step Win32 Disk Imager --- RuneAudio R_e6-RPi2-3.img.xz to sd card
3 insert the sd card into the Raspberry

It's OK?

See the instructions on page 1 of this thread -- it has all of the things you would need to know.

@Pixel

Why did you junk your original installation, did you not see my post as in:

runeaudio-r-e6-t7141-100.html#p30532

Now that you have reformatted your card, have you followed the instructions in the first post of this thread you were pointed to and if so how far have you got and what errors are you seeing ? If wifi access is actually your problem have you created a file called 'wifi' (with no extension) in the '/boot' folder with the your connection details as shown in the 'wifi0' template file ?

i am installing runeaudio for the first time. It has never worked properly for me. What should a Wifi file look like? I never had it.

See instructions on page 1 of the thread, it has details about how to create it.

@Rern

Thanks for update 20201107 which does seem to fix the Mouse Pointers issue on a touch screen. However running the update from the touchsreen still does create/update the rr6 file at the end of the update process.

Before applying the update (from the touchscreen):

root@runeaudio+R e6:/srv/http/data/addons # ls -lrt
total 16
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 9 Nov 6 14:18 rre6
-rw-r--r-- 1 http http 4758 Nov 7 10:08 addons-list.json
-rw-r--r-- 1 http http 1 Nov 7 10:08 update

After the update:

root@runeaudio+R e6:/srv/http/data/addons # ls -lrt
total 8
-rw-r--r-- 1 http http 4758 Nov 7 10:08 addons-list.json

I then had to reapply the update from my Windows 10 browser which gave:

Before update:

root@runeaudio+R e6:/srv/http/data/addons # ls -lrt
total 12
-rw-r--r-- 1 http http 4758 Nov 7 10:11 addons-list.json
-rw-r--r-- 1 http http 1 Nov 7 10:11 update

After Update:

root@runeaudio+R e6:/srv/http/data/addons # ls -lrt
total 12
-rw-r--r-- 1 http http 4758 Nov 7 10:11 addons-list.json
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 9 Nov 7 10:11 rre6

As you can see on this update the rr6 file is created as normal.

Regards.

Also applying the update via the RPI browser on the touch screen seemed to create '/srv/http/data/addons/update' rather than '/srv/http/data/addons/rre6' so updates were continuously available. Applied updates via Windows 10 browser which correctly created/updated '/srv/http/data/addons/rre6'.
...

Fixed. To be released with next update.

Rern

Latest 2 updates have a missing icon, in sources page, the network drive icon is missing.

Thanks for the update of UPnP, nice icon.
However, the name is a generic "RuneAudio", not the set system name.
This might cause a problem if you have more than one UPnP device (like I have).
But functionally it works fine now, good work.
