With latest update, tap AirPlay label and post the result.

Have noticed when streaming from Spotify it displays as being streamed at 48KHz, but Spotify is 44Khz? Can you amend this if poss? I'm aware there may be a few tracks that play at 48Khz on Spotify but very few compared to the amount of 44KHz tracks, and I believe it would be better to set at 44Khz if there is no way to detect what is being provided and automate the change in Rune? ...

My DAC detects more of 48kHz than not. There's no info on how to detect it from each tracks.

RPi CPUs can go up to 85°C and may be more. Read here.
It seems like we can't destroy them quite easily by just running a lot of heavy processes.

Relocated to setting icon next to Timezone.

Btw. the new system-setting "Last.fm Scrobbler" is unchecked. I propose not to offer "Add similar" in installations like such.

Similar tracks are based on general database, not the scrobbling data.

The instructions?
Without expansion, there'll be limited spaces left which is fine in general. More space should spread write to more broader area. Should there be any specific requirement to keep the unused part, delete x.sh file from BOOT partition prior to first boot.

Scott wrote:... How do I return from spotify to the normal Library shy of having to do a reset. Library functions work fine and Spotify connects just fine, but cannot figure out how to get back to normal operation once Spotify is triggered

Just press stop. The same for all streamers.

The "How To" in the first post does not explain this, so thanks also for the clarification.

Hi,

Update 20200718

Return of an issue previously fixed : when trying to open system settings, the Runeaudio page flashes indefinitely (both on touch screen and web interface).

Please give some insight about the functionality of "Add similar" (last year renamed from "Lastfm playlist"). Every time I try this function I get
Code: Select all
Playlist - Add Similar
Track not found.
btw. I don't use playlists at all.

Hi Rern

I am setting up a new PI Zero W to test out my new Merus Amp. I have downloaded and installed the latest RA+Re4 and updated it to 20200718. I can configure the setup as needed BUT if I choose the Merus Amp I2S setting I cannot access the MPD settings at all, I just get a flashing RuneAudio logo. If I leave the i2S setting as Default I CAN access the MPD settings page. I have attached a system data output for you to see.

Thanks

Chris

It gets a list of similar tracks from Last.fm, like similar artists in Bio page, then try to find the tracks in Library. If founded, add them to Playlist.
Get a list:
Code: Select all
# artist and title can be changed
artist='M83'
title='Echoes Of Mine'
key=ba8ad00468a50732a3860832eaed0882
wget -qO - "http://ws.audioscrobbler.com/2.0/?method=track.getsimilar&artist=$artist&track=$title&api_key=$key&format=json" | jq .similartracks | awk -F '"' '/"name"/ {print $4}'
