I deleted all my coverarts. Then I generated exactly one new thumbnail.

An Observation:
If the thumbnails are invisible in the coverart view, I select an album as a new playlist and the thumbnails are back again. Clearing the playlist and refreshing the browser window (F5) and the thumbnails vanish. Tested with Firefox and Chrome.

The bug was found and fixed. Update soon.
