In this version also I have the lack of AP mode issue.

Connecting through LAN with WiFi dongle - no AP mode option. Noticed that if I press the WIFI icon (searching for available networks) and then click the X the AP mode toggle button appears for a split second and then disappears ..

The device is RPI 2 and the wifi dongle is the official Rpi dongle. AP mode works for me on Rune 0.5 and olders.

Thank you for any help

Hi Rern,

Nothing has changed in my RPI 7" touchscreen with this new upgrade : the Repeat, Shuffle, etc. buttons are not visible in the Playback screen, althoug they are checked in the configuration. In remote control mode, the Repeat button does not work (goes automaticaly to the next song in the playlist).

And, as said in a previous post, when I select "System" in the settings, RuneAudio blinks indefinitly. If I close the web browser and restart it, then RuneAudio returns to the playback mode (it has continued to run in the background).

Thank You for your work.

Hi rern,
Thanks again for all your hard work. I have now installed e4 and I think it's great.

I have one question about adding an album to the playlist - I'm not sure whether it's working as designed or there's a problem. I have a directory containing all the tracks from two albums (CD1 and CD2). If I view, say, CD1 and click the button to add the whole album to the playlist the message says that it is adding CD1 to the playlist, but in fact it addss the contents of the whole directory (both CD1 and CD2) to the playlist. Is this what is intended, or not?

(I'm running the latest version of the software.)

Many thanks,
Vaughan

One other thing: on the announcement there is a reference to a simple HTTP Streamer - how is that invoked? I haven't been able to find it.

Many thanks,

[Fixed Issue] Audio glitches when refresh page

Those who experience audio glitches when refresh pages, open settings or switch app, please download the latest image files in the 1st post and reflash your SD card again.

Edited: As backup in System page didn't work when there're characters with diacritics in data files, backup by copying /srv/http/data directory manually (on Linux only). It can be used to restore as well.

Issue in RuneAudio+R e4 20200628

I tried to install the new image file. Beforehand I wanted to backup my settings (System menu -> Backup/Restore Settings). But the resulting backup.xz was in fact a HTML:
Code: Select all
<html>
<head><title>404 Not Found</title></head>
<body>
<center><h1>404 Not Found</h1></center>
<hr><center>nginx/1.19.0</center>
</body>
</html>

I had to generate a manual backup.
