Hi!

What can I do if I dont see any possibility to update in Settings -> addons?

And how can I add m3u Webradios? (http://stream.srg-ssr.ch/drs1/mp3_128.m3u for example)?

best regards
martin

martin,

Update:
R+R e2 cannot be updated to R+R e3. You have to download from the 1st post.

WebRadio:
*.m3u format (playlist)
Code: Select all
mpc load http://stream.srg-ssr.ch/drs1/mp3_128.m3u
Then copy URLs from Playlist page and add to WebRadio.

Hello rern, still rocking the E3, which is awesome. I would like to change the colour of the UI but I get the pop up that I need at least one album. I don't have any local content though. Can we change the colour without the need of to add content?

Thanks in advance,

Simon

Hi Simon,

the simplest way to change UI-color would IMHO to plug-in an USB-Stick with at least 1 tagged song. Update your library - so you´ll get an album and will be able to change color. Afterwards you can unplug and empty/update library again.
Color will be saved in backup.

regards, Andy

Next update, you'll be able to put *.m3u or *.pls in URL input directly and it'll get the actual URL automatically.

Hello everyone,

I installed this image on my RPI4B/2GB and updated it first thing (it's connected via ethernet). I want to connect it wi Wifi, however, I can't find the wifi settings and if I go to network, and try to make the RPi an access point, it says I should activate the Wifi. In system settings, this is however activated, so it seems that the internal wifi adapter is somehow not recognised.

Thank you for your help!

I have found that to be able to use WiFi, you first have to turn off WiFi in System settings, then turn it back on. You should then be able to connect to your WiFi network under Network.

hi rern

I cannot connect to smb share on the raspberry with ubuntu
is there something i can do ?
smb.conf ?

R+R e3:
Settings > System > File Sharing - Enable

Ubuntu:
Files app > + Other Locations > Connect to Server - smb://192.168.1.x/USB
(Replace 192.168.1.x with IP of your R+R e3)

rern
I could see the Raspberry on the local network but was unable to access to the USB or SD share the answer was " unvalid argument" , even after several reboot
after reading your post i just retry today without changing anything
everything works
may be something wrong on my local network
thanks

Hi rern,

Boot time still seems a bit excessive. Is it just me who is having this problem?

Code: Select all
root@runeaudio+R e3:~ # systemd-analyze blame
2min 53ms systemd-networkd-wait-online.service
  34.760s startup.service
   4.779s mpd.service
   1.722s dev-mmcblk0p2.device
   1.383s systemd-random-seed.service
   1.337s nmb.service
   1.115s netctl-auto@wlan0.service
   1.080s systemd-resolved.service
   1.042s smb.service
    732ms systemd-journal-flush.service
    636ms php-fpm.service
    589ms systemd-networkd.service
    543ms systemd-timesyncd.service
    424ms user@0.service
    422ms nginx.service

EDIT:
Code: Select all
systemctl disable systemd-networkd-wait-online.service
seems to improve things. Is the service necessary? It seems to be waiting for eth0 to be configured, which would explain why the web interface appears immediately if the Pi is connected by cable.
