Hi all

Just received my ODROID-VU7 but I'm unable to use the touch screen with runeos (the touch part, the display is working great)
Do I have install additional drivers (update the kernel ? configure X?) I m using the 25/08/2015 build.
I see that the odroid magazine contains a link to a pre build image, I haven't tested it yet.

Thanks again for the tutorial.

Yes, you need to update the kernel to enable the touch screen driver.

You should edit /boot/boot.ini file as described in Page-42 on that Magazine.
Or just use the pre-configured image.

Thanks for your hard work.

I've just made a standalone RuneAudio system with C1+, HiFi-Shield and a 3.2inch TFT LCD.

Because the small LCD has low resolution 320x240, I needed to zoom in.

To enjoy K-pop, I also installed Korean font pack.

Here are brief steps what I did.
Install xorg stuff and lxde desktop
Install some Korean fonts
Install Chromium browser to render the RuneAudio UI on the LCD.
Run the Chromium with kiosk mode and open 127.0.0.1 as URL to display RuneAudio UI to see the feasibility.
Configure the system to enable auto-login to X-window (LXDE) and launch the Chromium automatically.
Add some other stuff in .bash_profile to activate the 3.2inch SPI-TFT LCD and touch screen drivers.
Use the xinput_calibrator for the resistive touch screen calibration.
Finally, the RuneAudio starts fully automatically after just turn on the system.

This is my first experience of using Arch Linux. So I spent a couple of days to find correct packages and configuration files.
It was not easy at all but I learned a lot. Finally my little kids can play music without my phone.

When I have time slot, I will make a very detail instruction how to build this fun and useful item. :D
Once again, really appreciate the official support of C1+ !

To simply new comer installation, like me.
May you upload IMG file for 3.2" display

Does the local browser support the multi-touch event?

No, we are using midori and matchbox-window-manger.
As usual our main goal is to have a responsive and lightweight solution, with one main goal = sound quality.

Frank

That's really nice, can't wait about it !

I tried to install midori and matchbox, unfortunately both use libgudev which makes a conflict with libsystemd dependencies.
This is my first day using Arch, but I suppose I can't delete libsystemd because it's used to start services after booting.

I also tried to update package with this command :
Code: Select all
pacman -Syu

But after rebooting it seems SSH and web service were stopped, I had to format again my SD card.

Any possibility to install theses packages ?

A RuneAudio bootscreen could be a good feature too for 0.4 ;)

Use the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl and + for Zoom-in.
Ctrl and - for zoom-out ! ;)
