In my experience, 0.5b is stable and should need no fiddling, while Re1 is completely unusable.

I agree - 0.5b is stable if you disable Dirble.
I disagree that Re1 is unusable. I'm on Re1.2 and it works very fine and stable on my RPi-3B via remote access.

@Janui: Why not a new gitpull release for disabling Dirble (not only as service but also remove from GUI) because it's out of service for months?

I got set up with 0.5 today, thanks to your advice. Had trouble with wireless but Ethernet worked okay.
I'll disable dirble. Thanks.

Thanks to all devs and contributors.
I asked myself the question, whatif I run DLNA Server and renderer on the same Rpi.

I experimented forward, so I broke the distro overriding dependencies. I installed Bubbleupnp Server on my rpi 3 b+ on top of rune. It worked excellently in means of Audio Quality. The separation improved like dat and night. Soundstage got wider.

All until the next reboot, then rune was not there as well, anymore as the renderer.

@Janui : have you ever tested Bubbleupnp Server or any other DLNA server on top of Rune?

Cheers,
wiiuu

Yes Re1.2 ist very unusable. I have testing on my Rpi3 can don't play my music from iPhone or Macbook.
I go back to RuneAudio 0.5b from @janui on my Rpi Zero whit Justboom DAC Zero.
Sound ist great and work fine whit all my device.

For me, likewise, I can not configure the R1.2 version with my hardware (DAC Usb, Nas ...) for the moment.
So I returned to the 0.5b that I can configure without problems and is stable.

I correct this post:

The Re1.2 version did not work at all but with the creation of the new version of Rern: RuneAudio+R_e2-RPi2-3, everything works great.
I just had to extend the partition with "putty" (command line explained on the site).
For the rest everything seems functional and stable.
I thank all those who, through their work, allow us to use such a good music software.

Pierre

I'm on Rpi 3b+
Dac USB Teac UD-501
Case and alim built by myself

Not only is it unstable for me too, but it seems to cause Internet problems. Every time I get rerns OS running, a few days later my Internet starts acting up.

Probably just a consistent coincidence
