Rune Audio never survives turning off

Postby Stavros » 25 Jan 2014, 11:58

On first installation, Rune audio works great, but after turning off (either by choosing the menu option, or pulling the plug) it will never boot up a second time.

I too have suffered this. I thought it was just me being a berk!
Powering off isn't the only time I've seen this behaviour. Sometimes just a seemingly innocuous config change causes this!
I found that nothing but a reinstall brings it back!

Hi Stavros,
we had a couple of feedbacks similar to your situation (we are still working on debug).
Surely a part of the problem is the slow shutdown bug.
On shutdown you may have to wait a lot of time, especially if you use CIFS mount points, prior to disconnect the AC adapter from your RuneAudio player.

This is connected with a known bug of Systemd.
We hope to solve this problem as soon as possible.

Thanks for the reply.

Not using any CIFs mounts, just a USB drive.

Just to let you know, Volumio doesn't have this problem. I can just pull the plug and when I reconnect, the music starts off from where I left it, no need to shut down.
