[Probably dumb] question

Postby wick » 17 Aug 2014, 18:54

So, to mount an external usb on the r-pi, I assume that the external usb must be formatted
as linux fs? ie ext4? or will other disk formats work? (mac os; ntfs; fat32;...)
thanks.

ExFat works in my case.
So I can use the disk with the pi, mac os and windows.

Hi thanks - that's exactly what I wanted to find out. extfat would be perfect,
I could switch between Os's. Fat32 is OK too!
thanks to both of you!
