[SOLVED] Banana Pi + OpenMediaVault -> NAS mount problem Rpi

Postby xander » 01 Nov 2014, 14:46

Hi there,

I bought a Banana Pi to use it as a NAS. OS is Bananian + OpenMediaVault (OmV). Everything works fine. SMB/ CIFS works with my Desktop as well as dlna with TV, BDP etc.

But here is the problem. I’m not able to mount my Raspberry Pi via NFS nor SMB. The Rpi (IP address) has access via NFS in OmV I also created a SMB user.

When using NFS I get: mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting 192.168.2.xxx:/Multimedia/Music

When using SMB/CIFS: mount error(22): Invalid argument Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g. man mount.cifs)

Current version is 0.3 beta, but had the same problems with 0.3 alpha before. USB mounting has never been a problem.

Can someone please help me out?

Thanks

EDIT: I found the solution: the Remote directory was incorrect: So "export/" was missing i.e. it should look like this: "192.168.XXX/export/Music"
