i think rune is ahead on odroid because i tried volumio (did not boot), archphile (no i2s enable), moode (not compatible).
great work and thank you very much for the effort:)

it works ok the only issue is sometimes it repeats the song from the beginning after 10 seconds of playback

This is a known issue and will be fixed with next image.
For now you can disable mpd-watchdog.

Get access to the console and type
Code: Select all
systemctl stop mpd-watchdog
systemctl disable mpd-watchdog

Frank

- Get access to the console:
Use SSH from your PC
If you are not familiar with SSH read this for Windows or this for Linux/MacOS
The default login for RuneAudio is "root" with the password "rune" (without quotes).

works perfect now :) no more repeating in the beginning.
thk you very much.

When i collect c2 to my diy Tda1543 with i2s , the sound is small and noisy. After that I add the I2s buffer.the sound become normal and work prefect.

@hondagx35: could you read this to see if there is any clue to fix the sound distorted http://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php?t=20413

...exactly this http://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php?t=21477

...it seems in their kernel HK preserved / swap a pin... that it is no more standard signal to feed for USB / DAC ?!

The links you provided have nothing to do with USB.

I did some tests with a cheap CM108 based DAC and it works perfect!

Thanks Frank... so what a pity for my C2 ... don't know what is being happened to my C2. For summary:

1) Rune played perfectly with 24/192 except 16/44.1 and DSD their sound are distorted.

2) played 16/44.1 perfectly in Ubuntu with the command "aplay <wav filename>. Note I also tried Audacious with the settings of Pulse is fine, but failed with Alsa.

3) played perfectly LibreELEC without any issue even DTS HD MA passthrough

Really sorry when concerning this few times but I am still finding where the problem may come from.

My friend told me the issue may come from LAN network, but I have no issue with the Pi2 connected the same home network.

Pi2 did not come with the output control from HDMI to TV but C2 it has...is it the case of mine?

Again...really sorry ! ..hope to see your next image to flash then a miracle comes :(

@hondagx35: Hi Frank. After flashing the microSD card, it runs well on C2 but I cannot read it when putting the card in lap/Windows. Is this fine or error from the card writing? Tks.

Can we turn the HDMI out to TV off? Like the case Pi2 running?

Hi Frank,

Will latest C2 image place in download section?
It ensures everyone talking about same image.
