Hi,

there is some bug that you cannot setup wifi directly by using keyboard, mouse and HDMI monitor - basically the wifi profile is not saved.

You have to connect RPi to wired ethernet and use another device on the local network to setup wifi remotely (use PC,tablet or mobile phone, via its browser-> http://runeaudio/ or look at router for assigned IP address.).

So, when you connect remotely, setup wifi, save profile, reboot and check status of network - both (wired, wifi) should be enabled.

Then you can shutdown system and disconnect from wired network and enjoy wifi.

AND
http://runeaudio.local or runeaudio/
only works for wired connections.
when you are trying to connect via wifi only,
you need to know its IP number, only then you can access it,
at least this is how it works for me.
my router can reveal all connected units, their names, and their IP number,
and there is a feature to lock IP numbers, so they stay constant, very usefull so you simply use bookmarks on your browers,
also I found out most of my phones and ipads remember sites i visit,
so i simply input 192 and it say the rest, nice and easy.

I'm greener than grass to newbies. Luckily, my pi3 b only had two issues: no cursor and no wifi. If you don't set wifi to static, your device's IP address will change every time it's switched on. Anyway, HDMI to TV still no cursor. I can't even find the terminal to input commands. I just have Rune on my Pi and don't know whether I need another software or OS to input commands. Anyway, listening to music without the laptop or DAP is enjoyable. cuphead
