Hi, we aim to support all these platforms sooner or later:

  • Raspberry Pi (all models, including the 2)
  • BeagleBone Black
  • CuBox and CuBox-i
  • UDOO
  • Cubietruck
  • Utilite
  • Banana Pi
  • IBOX
  • pcDuino
We are going to standardize the installation process for all the platforms soon, but we will surely need also some help from the community to maintain them all.

Please say, wnhich method stay on choosing them?
My interest is support Odroid-C1, elementary because i have it and dont want to buy RPi2.
So RPi1 soon 100% be unsupported like oldyears board, i think it actualy.

No. That's why they spent so much money on software dev and didn't fix the major hardware limitations (USB2, gigabit Eth). Because of compatibility. Your RPi 1 will gain every single software dev improvement made on the 2 except for the CPU related ones. And that's not much.

I think so rpi2 is an ARMv7, ARMv6 versions be compiled much less. And many images of OS's be ARMv7 compiled, but not old ARMv6.

Images posted on the Raspberry Pi website are most often compatible with both versions.

How about Odroid-C1?
Archlinux almost ported, all need is platform adaptation.
Uboot is open.
Good solution for media transport.

Once we have standardized the setup process, it should be quite simple to do platform adaptation. So keep an eye on the development and be ready to contribute :)

Hi, everyone!
The thread is almost a year old now...
Since then we saw rune audio implemented for a bunch of abovementioned platforms, but still no standardized installation,
making it suitable for (instance) my PcDuino 3B, and some other, pretty similar platforms. When can we (humbly) expect one?
It's even more strange, considering that the PcDuino is based on the same Alwinner A20 platform, as the Cubietruck, which has got support already.
