When I first tried doing this install last week I got the same rainbow colored screen. Make sure that you are going through the start up steps listed on the site as well to prepare the drive by formatting and installing as stated. After that, I have no issues with the startup.

Hi,

The file takes a long time to download and i takes a long time to install on the SD card.

Installing (writing) the file to the sd card shouldn't take very long.
Please check the quick start guide here:

Your PI is not correctly booting the kernel image (Linux + Rune).

1) Make sure you have a suitable power supply like the official PI one (possible voltage drop otherwise will cause all sorts of strange issues).

2) Make sure you are imaging the SDCard correctly as per instructions.

3) Try imaging and booting Rasperian on the SDcard to check everything is ok (Pi & SDcard combination).

4) Try a different SDCard.

5) I'm using Rune 0,4b with a Topping D10 on a 3B Pi and it is beautiful ! (both the simplicity and operation of Rune 0.4b & the Topping sound).

6) Finally, once all up and running ALWAYS shutdown your PI from the Rune menu - never simply turn off the power !

On the earlier the remote question, I found this morning:

I'm assuming that as a bundled hardware solution (DAC & Remote, optional LED displays) this would be everything you were looking for? I know you mentioned that you limited access to retail, so I'll readily offer up that I haven't used this or can endorse it.
