[SOLVED]Help with NAS mount please

Postby 4eyes » 08 Sep 2018, 10:45

Hi all,
I've been streaming music from my Synology NAS to Rune 0.3 on my RPi B+ since 2014 with few problems.
The other day I had a problem with my internet service which resulted in the router being reset by Virgin Media. I have been unable to mount my NAS ever since. As far as I can see the only thing that has changed is that my NAS's ip has changed.
I have entered the new ip into the NAS mounts dialog, as well as the full path to my music directory, but get this message: mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting.
I've been going round in circles for a while now - any ideas?

Can you access your NAS share folder from PC?

You try add to SBM Advanced mount flags:

Code: Select all
vers=1.0,sec=ntlm,cache=none,noserverino,ro

It was a syntax error, for those of you who may be experiencing difficulty. I stated the path to the NAS as "Volumes1/etc etc" as displayed in my finder window. It should have been "volume1/etc etc". Who new?
