Genre by Album instead of artist

Is it possible to configure MPD to display Genre by Album instead of by artist? I'm a newb to Rune (installed it this morning), but I'm not averse to getting into the weeds to change things.

There is no way to configure this, because it is hard coded.

Maybe there are more places in the code dealing with "genre".
