Echo in replay

Postby RedAdmiral » 12 Jan 2016, 23:24

I experienced a bug with the audio buffering: Everytime I started a new song there was an echo of about half a second to a second. Pausing the song and restarting it helped but was annoying. When I disabled the buffer before play the problem was gone.

Hi RedAdmiral, which device are you using? Which DAC? Where are you playing the music from? Without this basic information it's impossible to debug.

same problem here on RPI. Using HDMI audio and music stored on the SD card
As said, turning off the buffer cures the echo.

edit.
Turning off the buffer does NOT cure the echo. it just makes it so fast that it now causes a phase change in the audio, making a slightly hollow sound to the audio.
