Directly to car amplifier

Postby sareea » 16 Dec 2016, 15:10

Hello all,
I am looking for alternative ways to not buy a new head unit, because new audiophile grade headunits costs a lot.
How do you suggest to make it ?

Thank you

Hi,

in my car I connected the output of the Hifiberry DAC+ to my headunit AUX input but, if you don't have a headunit, you can do the same using the RCA input of a car amplifier.
Every car amplifier has an "input gain" volume to set the input level of the signal coming from the headunit (or, in your case, from the DAC of the Raspberry), the "master volume", instead, will be the main volume of the Rune UI.
I hope it's clear, regards.
