Dirble (null) not working?

Postby number9 » 03 May 2015, 15:32

I had an installation of RuneAudio on the Raspberry-pi (first gen), and it worked fine. I broke it a little when I switched from one NFS NAS to another, and it would not delete my old NAS.

I decided to start over, formatted the SD card, and installed RuneAudio again (same image). Now, however, the Dirble app says "Dirble (null)" and when I click it, I get a spinning cursor and it just sits there. From the console of the runeaudio box I see not much is going on (top, ps aux) and I can get to the internet (pings to google work, see below). Is there a problem with the Dirble now? Am I missing something that I should do to make it work? I even upgraded the UI as per the git instructions, but the results are the same.

Any help on getting this to work would be great. We were using a number of radio stations on the old install and it was great.

Thanks.

Hi number9,

Am I missing something that I should do to make it work?

No, DIRBLE is broken for some reason.
We try to fix this very soon.

Argh. That is what we were really using RuneAudio for. I suppose I can go find my radio stations and try to put them in the lists by hand. Thanks.

I had issues with v1 of the API not handling database connection correctly, i had a move to a new servers then which made it to not work for a moment. It should work now though.

Thank you for that, at least we gain some time and we don't have to rush for a quick and dirty implementation of the v2 of the API :)

We are currently working on a patch on the DEV branch.

Look at the GitHub repo in the next days.

I've downloaded DEV branch today - DIRBLE shows still "(null)" - some click on the link shows many "undefined"-Folder. This folder are empty.
Is there any cache to empty or is the patch simply not ready?

Andy

Hi Andy, while Simone has already updated the backend according to the API 2.0, I hadn't time to adjust the frontend code for it yet. I'll do it in the next days.

@confact: could you expose an endpoint showing the total amount of stations like the one in the old API?

Hallo ACX,

thanks for your reply. Could it be that Airplay is broken in DEV branch (i couldn´t hear any sound - but it´s still playing)? I restored to official release for RPi 2 and it works again ...
I´m watching github for updates.

Thank you for your amazing project!!

regards,

Andy

I've committed a first working implementation of the frontend, with a 2 level only navigation for the moment. Please test it and give me feedback.

@AndyF we'll check for it.

EDIT: I've also implemented the 2 level navigation :) The only glitch now is that the back menu will bring you from the second level straight to the Dirble main categories, jumping one level and messing the showed path in the bottombar.
