[SOLVED] Database can not recognize .m4a files

Postby runeluke » 02 Feb 2014, 01:59

Hi,

Runeaudio can easily cifs-mount a NAS directory containing a bunch of .m4a (ALAC) files for Apple iTunes as the other archlinux system with mpd running on my BBB does, but I found that these .m4a files can not show up in the directory despite the current mpd does support .m4a.

Any tweaks? Or should I wait for the next beta?

Hi runeluke, there are two threads about the same question in the forum:
rpi-runeaudio-0-2beta-does-not-recognized-m4a-t71.html
mpd-database-update-not-picking-up-alac-m4a-files-t59.html
We are going to fix it in the next release. In the meanwhile you can manuall edit your mpd.conf file.
