Customize elements on the interface

Postby ghervasze » 18 Jul 2016, 19:45

Hi.

1 There are elements on the library section that I never use like spotify and dirble and jamendo. How can I disable these so they dont show? Also can I add my own (custom) library views?

2 I disabled the volume control, how can I disable it on the interface since it has no more real use?

3 There is a FAQ about increasing the SD partition. What else could I install on it? Are there any useful/recommended auxiliary packages?

4 Are there any plugins for RA that would add to its functionality? Will there ever be? Like artist bios, lyrics, visualisations, interface mods, whatever.

Thank you for RA, it simply rocks. I am only just discovering it and am crazy about it.

Hi ghervasze,

1) You can remove this entries, but not without modifying the code.
The only solution at the moment is to comment out this block.

2) This is not possible at the moment.

3) Some users have build a player with local displays and controls.
To do this you need additional packages, so more space is needed.

4) Most of this will come with next release.

Ok, thanks. The line you linked to lies within a file called runeui.js, correct? Where can I find this file on my RA card after install?

Hi,

it is in "/var/www/assets/js/runeui.js"
After modifying the file has also to be minnified and saved as runeui.min.js
