Browsing by Composers

Postby LLZZ » 21 Jun 2015, 18:18

Hello,
I'm using Rune Audio with a Raspberry pi 2 and Hifiberry Digi+ since ...today. I spent time to solve problems to access my Synology NAS but I'm now amazed by the result.
I would love to be able to browse my library by composers.

Is it something that could be easily implemented in a next Rune Audio version ?

Cheers from France.

Hi LLZZ,
if you mean "by Artist", we already have implemented a rough version of that. You can test it upgrading to our nightly builds:

Thank you ACX. I will try with your nighty builds but I didn't mean "by Artists". I really meant "by Composers" as I have a large library of classical music.

In that case we could take in consideration for the future versions. Thank you for the tip.

it would be perfect :-) I was wondering though if it was a limitation of MPD itself.
As many tags can be fulfilled such as Year, Composer, etc. it would be great to be able to browse by any of them.

Hm, this request is quite old...
But please add support for the composer tag!
Otherwise I won't be able to control Runeaudio as effective as the Logitech or Sonos devices.
