Bluetooth problem on Pi 4

Postby petePi » 26 Jun 2020, 16:49

Pi 4 using sd card written with the image RuneAudio+R_e3-RPi4.img
Gui is accessed with Chrome browser on Windows 10

Most components are working ok, but there is a problem with Bluetooth.
I am using a known good bluetooth speaker, This is detected by the Pi 4, and the runeaudio network settings status indicates the Bluetooth speaker id, and increments to showing that speakers are paired and connected.(although this process can take several bootups to link up)
Audio has worked previously with a direct connection to the speaker. The problem is that on starting to play a track, there is no audio.
The system menu shows on board audio options as hdmi and 3.5mm jack, but I cannot deselect these outputs; and there is no Bluetooth option
displayed as an audio output.
