I was able to resolve this with a small tweak to the shairport exec command in file /usr/lib/systemd/system/shairport.service
Before:
- Code: Select all
ExecStart=/usr/bin/shairport -w --name=runeaudio --on-start=$ON --on-stop=$OFF --meta-dir=/var/run/shairport -o alsa -- -d hw:1,0
After:
- Code: Select all
ExecStart=/usr/bin/shairport -w --name=runeaudio --on-start=$ON --on-stop=$OFF --meta-dir=/var/run/shairport -o alsa -- -d plughw:1,0
Changing "hw:1,0" to "plughw:1,0" and rebooting did the trick. Note: If you make any changes to the Airplay service via the RuneUI you'll need to re-apply the fix.
