AIFF

Hi all

New to the forums and new to Rune Audio.
My first Raspberry pj should be here in the mail any day now. Looking to load my AIFF music via a synology NAS to the Rune. I may have missed it but cannot find any info on whether the Rune is able to play AIFF files in 16 and 24 bit. Thanks all for your help.

You should have no problems playing AIFF files. Do you have FFmpeg decoder plugin enabled under the MPD section in the UI?

Thank you! I hope to start building the Pi at the weekend. Can I ask is this a setting I can locate in the Rune program or is this code I need to type in?
Apologies I have not used Linux before beginner first project. Thanks again.

It's just a switch on the web user interface, under the "MPD" section, and should be already enabled by default.

No worries, you should not need any particular Linux skill to enjoy music with RuneAudio :)
