Volume with Spotify

Hi everyone,
I thought I read a discussion about it, but I'm unable to find it ..
Can you confirmed that the volume still does not work with Spotify?
With other sources the hardware volume is ok, but with spotify I fixed at 100%.

And yes, volume control with Spotify does not work.

I'd love this to come true...

Are there any updates on this? May be some one with the knowledge could explain a little why this doesn't work?

Hopefully this will be changed with next release.

The Spotify-API used by RuneAudio doesn't offer volume control.
So the only way to control the volume would be to use alsa directly.
