First thing i did was updating RuneAudio. No problem, After that Selecting the Piano 2.1 dac and rebooting went smoothly. Music files were found on an inserted USB stick. But no sound coming from the dac. Opening the mpd tab is not possible. RuneAudio displays the flashing logo.
Unselecting the piano 2.1 dac is also possible. RuneAudio appears to be running correctly.
The dac is ok, as it works with the fork Volumio, but I prefer RuneAudio (running older version for years now).
Any suggestions how to proceed?
i have the same problem with a kali reclocker in between.
i think it has to do with the kernel but not sure if this same problem is also for runeaudio .
for now I'm using runeaudio over raspberry pi 4 with a musical fidelity m1 usb dac until this problem is solved
i am using a raspberry pi 3b for the kali and piano 2.1.

I have run into the same issue ("Opening the mpd tab is not possible. RuneAudio displays the flashing logo"), this time with HiFiBerry DAC+ PRO. It seems obvious that the issue is related to a new kernel and the card compatibility as discussed e.g. here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... p?t=144284. Have tested a lot other applicationsincluding of this workaround his: https://www.hifiberry.com/docs/software ... ux-3-18-x/ w/o any positive result.
The question would be: Is it possible to downgrade kernel of RuneAudio+R e6 to 4.19.118 and how?
Edited @10:40: Raspberry Pi 4B, 4GB RAM
Thanks a lot, K
