Hi Rern,

ceejayemm Just beat me to it, Everything works fine until I change the l2s module, then reboot and stuck on logo screen.

Very fast to boot though, so still very impressed.

Can anyone tell me the difference between iqaudio pi dac+ and iqaudio dac+ in l2s Module?

And also what do the different settings in Sound Profile: Custom Mean?

Currently back on Re2 listening to Megadeth - Anthology: Set The World Afire.

It Sounds Awesome on RuneAudio.

Rern

It only seems possible to add one Web Radio to e3, the plus (+) button to add more has disappeared.

You don't have to wait for it. You can do it right away then force update.

rern

DIY via RuneOS runs smoothly. But restoring settings using a backup.xz hangs. Nothing happened to the srv/http/data/*

Rern

Output of commands as requested in attached zip file. The final command was obviously expecting a different parameter so only the command help has been output..

@ceejayemm and @J4K,

1. Start over from writing the image file to SD card.
2. Settings > Addons > RuneAudio+R e3 > Update
3. Setup I2S module

IQaudIO DAC+ and IQaudIO Pi-DAC+ use the same driver.
Custom sound profile is for tweaking system parameters which may improve sound quality. Tap top-right ? button and google the names for details.

Rern

Ok that last update and the sequence of install /setup steps seems to have cured my problems and I have a working RA R-e3 installation. A minor problem for another day is that the Web Radio library does not update automatically when you add a new radio station. Is there any way to EXPORT a set of radio stations ? There is a means to import them via a plugin but I don't see a way to export them when, for example moving from R-e2 to R-e3

Thanks for you hard work on this.

Thanks rern, I have it running with fixed IP over wifi, but it still takes a lot of manual configuration. The setup form ignores the fixed IP tick and creates a file in netctl which is DHCP, with the IP shown as the gateway address, and the gateway address unknown. Other lines seem to be wrong too, but after pasting in a working file, I found the wifi needed to be turned on in settings, so that might have affected the setup form?

Wireless Samba shares did not work, as the smb.conf file is still missing the zero off the wlan entry.

It takes a couple of minutes for the playback page to appear via wifi after startup. No problem with a wired connection.

The cover placeholder appears in the album track folder, even when cover art is turned off in settings. This takes up a lot of space on a small screen.
