cant add music by network

Postby Bert » 19 Aug 2017, 14:17

Dear people,

When I add music to the flash drive that I can see on the Windows network, I persistently get the message that there is not space enough, but the drive is only half full. What can I do? I can add manually music but then I need to pull the USB stick.

Thanks, Bert

Hi Bert,

but the drive is only half full. What can I do?

This is a known issue with SMB:
The smb share path must be directed to the disk mount point itself, not to the parent USB folder.
The parent USB folder belongs to the SD file system, hence the small size limit.

Thanks very much. I have decided to play music by USB share through the router, it works :-)
