Replay Gain

Hi everybody. Recently, for no apparent reason, my installation will not save the replay gain state. If I set it to any of the options when I do a "Save and Apply" it reverts to off. Anybody got any ideas please?

what is the installed version 0.3, 0.4 or 0.5?
