Hi rern,
rern wrote:Please update and report the result.

1. base installation of 0.4-beta
2. addons installation via ssh
3. Trying to install any addon (e.g. RuneUI Enhancement):
Nothing happens, not even the Install/Cancel popup appears.
Tested with FF, Chrome, Edge, IE on Win10, FF on Ubuntu 18.04.

Update 20180809

Fix the nonresponsive buttons bug.
It turns out it's not the cache. It's been the method of passing JSON data between PHP and JS that some browsers didn't seem to like it.
But utilizing the cache busting itself will be very helpful from now on.
Those who got the same issue like Herbert@klassikmann(-thanks for the test run) should be back on track as well.

Hello!
I got stucked.
Installed the Addons and only white screen in browser.
Uninstall, enable debug, reinstall, and white screen again with this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /srv/http/app/templates/header.php on line 117

On /addons page white screen with this error:
Warning: include(/srv/http/app/addons_ctl.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /srv/http/index.php on line 102 Warning: include(): Failed opening '/srv/http/app/addons_ctl.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear:/srv/http/app/libs/vendor') in /srv/http/index.php on line 102 Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /srv/http/app/templates/header.php on line 117

I try multiple things and none works. Can you help me out?
Thanks a lot!

@foldesics,

1. Make sure you have:
Raspberry Pi 2
or
Raspberry Pi 3

2. Make sure you made RuneAudio SD card from:
RuneAudio_rpi2_rp3_0.4-beta_20160321_2GB.img
or
RuneAudio_rpi2_rp3_0.4-beta_20170229_2GB.img

3. It might be some leftovers from previous installations. Try making a fresh RuneAudio SD card again then, without setting up anything, install Addons.

I've just tested it and it runs fine.

Looking for an update in the "Addons Menu" some minutes ago the update took place ending in a "Software Failure" + "Guru Meditation #0000022.65045032" and the addons vanished from the main menu.

Hi Herbert,

You just got in there during a code update glitch. It's only a couple minutes but, man, you were fast enough.

Just SSH uninstall_addo.sh then reinstall again.

Hello!
No luck for me.
Fresh download img, fresh install with Etcher, 64Gb Kingston Canvas React AND 8gb microsd, RPi 3 model B v1.2.
Before Addon install, everything works fine. After install, with disabled debug mode, only white screen. With enabled debug, white screen and "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /srv/http/app/templates/header.php on line 117".
RuneOs: 0.3-beta
RuneUI: 1.3-beta
Hw-env: RaspberryPi 2
Sad day, any suggestion? :(
(A tip: I can't find file: logout.php and there is a line in install: appendH -n +1 'logout.php'. Where is it need to be?)
Thanks a lot.

UPDATE:
on RuneAudio_rpi2_rp3_0.4-beta_20160321_2GB.img in the header.php and footer.php there is no "logout.php" nor "code.jquery.com".
I find an RuneAudio_rpi2_rp3_0.4-beta_20170229_2GB image and everything like a charm.
So I go and try out it at all :D
