2. I'm sure this has been asked and answered before, but where exactly does the cover art come from: a tag in MPD, Last.fm, and/or an image such as cover.jpg in the same folder as the music?
3. I'm curious why the index bar in the library no longer works on my system. Older UI Enhancement versions work both on a local screen and on a remote PC screen.
1. It will be back in next update.
2. For RuneUIe:
- Search
local files for
cover.png, cover.jpg, folder.png, folder.jpg, front.png, front.jpg, Cover.png, Coverjpg, Folder.png, Folder.jpg, Front.png, Front.jpg in directory of current song.
- If none, search in
ID3 metadata for embedded one.
- If none, search
last.fm. Get artist image if the cover art was not available.
- If none, use default
runeaudio.
Tips - How to override embedded cover art-
Local cover art file is easy and fast. Best for 1 album per 1 directory.
-
ID3 embedded cover art is for songs from various albums in 1 single directory. It takes storage space in each song even if they are the same.
- Now RuneUIe displays
large cover art. You might find resolution of an embedded one was too low, just grab a hi-res file and put it in the directory. It will override the embedded ones and still leave them intact. No need to edit ID3 metadata.
- Normal size is 230 x 230 pixel. Try the largest one your devices can handle. 1000 x 1000 should still be fine.
3. It works fine on my PC, Android and iOS.
